Diet 5 Supplement: Diet 5 2

Losing weight diet 5 2 photos Pevzner’s diet has become popular all over the world.
English journalists Michael Moseley and Mimi Spencer developed an addition to the famous nutrition system, calling it the 5 2 diet. The first fans of the new healthy eating plan were Americans, Europeans and the British. Today the technique is available to residents of Russia; it allows you to reduce body weight by 3-7 kg in 2-3 weeks. Diet 5 2 can be called not quite ordinary. The fact is that for five days of the week a person is allowed to eat in quantities and taste preferences that are familiar to him, the remaining two days are intended to unload the body. These days you are allowed to consume only 500-600 calories per day. Fasting days are chosen at will; these can be weekdays or weekends. It is not necessary to combine two fast days; it is better to arrange them separately, alternating with normal meals. This could be a pattern: Monday - Thursday, Tuesday - Friday or Saturday - Sunday.

According to the 5 2 diet, on fasting days it is permissible to eat meat, fish, vegetables and fruits, and bread. The main thing is to comply with the caloric content of foods. It is not allowed to eat nuts, chocolate, drink carbonated drinks and beer. It is better to give preference to cereal porridges, stewed vegetables or soups. These are low-calorie dishes that allow you to fill up due to the size of the portions.

Medical opinions about the 5 2 diet differ. Some doubt its effectiveness, others consider it useful and similar to Christian fasting.

The following three soups for diet 5, prepared with vegetable broth

Greetings, readers!

Table No. 5, as we already know, is a special therapeutic diet for people with diseases of the liver, gall bladder and biliary tract. It was developed by Dr. M.I. Pevzner. This diet includes restrictions on fats and foods containing cholesterol, purines and other nitrogenous substances. This prevents fatty liver and stimulates bile secretion and intestinal motility. At the same time, Table No. 5 must fully provide a person with all the necessary calories and microelements. Also, this diet provides for the consumption of large amounts of vegetables and fruits (fiber), liquids and completely avoids fried foods and meat broths are contraindicated.

With this diet, it is recommended to cook, bake or stew dishes. It is not recommended to eat cold foods.

The diet of table No. 5 is quite varied, soups play a large role in it. Very often, gastrologists recommend giving up soups with meat broths for a while. Therefore, I offer you examples of three first courses - soups with vegetable broth or, as it would be more correct, with vegetable broth, which are recommended to be included in the diet.

Recipes for dietary soups for the “5 table” diet

For those who suffer from serious diseases of the liver or gall bladder and ducts, the Soviet scientist, nutritionist and doctor Mikhail Pevzner has developed a special nutritional system.

It allows you to eat a balanced diet, receiving all the necessary elements, vitamins and minerals, while avoiding boring, tasteless dishes. Recipes for delicious dishes for the “5 table” diet are already available on our website.

Today we will focus exclusively on soups.

Recipes for first courses with meat or fish

Please note that this diet never uses raw onions, regardless of the variety. It can be added to dishes only if it undergoes heat treatment, in our case, boiled. If liver diseases become acute, it is better to avoid this caustic vegetable altogether. The exact same can be said about tomatoes.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet (breast) – 200-220 grams.
  • Potatoes – 2-3 pieces.
  • Carrots – 1 medium size.
  • Onions – 0.5 pieces.
  • Bay leaf – 0.5 leaves.
  • Salt, pepper - to taste.

Lenten vegetable borscht

Necessary ingredients: cabbage - 100 g, beets - 70 g, potatoes - 60 g, carrots - 15 g, celery - 5 g, tomatoes - 50 g, parsley (greens) - 5 g, butter - 10 g, sour cream - 30 g, water - 350 g.

I often cook borscht for my family - it is a very healthy dish for the body, mainly with meat, but recently I had to give up meat broth due to gastroduodenitis. Now I boil the meat separately.

  1. Peel the beets, cut them into strips, put them in a frying pan, add salt and mix.
  2. Add oil and add water so that it lightly covers the beets, cover with a lid and simmer over low heat.
  3. After half an hour, add chopped carrots, celery, 20 g of tomato to the beets and cook for another 10 minutes.
  4. When all the ingredients are ready, add chopped white cabbage, add a little more water and let it boil. Add peeled and diced potatoes and cook until soft.

Cut the remaining tomatoes into cubes and add to the prepared soup. Before serving, add sour cream and finely chopped herbs to the plates.

Beverages

Kissel with berries

To prepare the drink, you can use a wide variety of berries (raspberries, strawberries, currants, etc.). You will also need 4 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons of starch, water (2 l).

If there are seeds in the berries, you need to get rid of them. Starch is dissolved in water, after which it is poured over the berries, put on fire and cooked for 15 minutes until the jelly becomes thick. Sugar is added at the end of cooking.

Rose hip decoction

To prepare the decoction you will need water and rose hips. For one part of berries take 10 parts of water. To reduce the infusion time of the decoction, you can pre-chop the berries. Then they are filled with water, put on fire and brought to a boil. You can add a little sugar to the broth, after which it is covered with a lid and the pan is left to steep for 12 hours.

Potato soup with buckwheat

Necessary ingredients: buckwheat - 0.5 cups, potatoes - 6-8 pcs., onions - 1 pc., half a carrot, parsley, butter - 4 tbsp. spoons, salt, bay leaf - a couple of leaves, dill and parsley for serving.

  1. We sort out the buckwheat kernels. Then place the buckwheat in a dry frying pan and bake in a preheated oven until golden brown. Then cook it in a small amount of water, adding butter first.
  2. In another saucepan, boil water and add pre-peeled and diced potatoes to it, cook for 9-12 minutes. Add cooked buckwheat, peeled and chopped carrots and onions, cook for about 5 minutes. Salt, add bay leaf.
  3. At the end, add a tablespoon of butter. Finely chop the dill and parsley and add the greens to the soup.

Light vegetable soup

To prepare a light vegetable soup, you should take the following set of ingredients:

  • 3 medium carrots;
  • 90 g celery;
  • 1 large tomato;
  • 3 garlic cloves;
  • 25 g dill;
  • 2 tbsp. l. wine vinegar;
  • 5 peas of allspice;
  • 1/2 tsp. sage;
  • 1/2 tsp. table salt.

The process of preparing light dietary soup consists of the following steps:

  1. Vegetables will need to be washed in cold water. Carrots and onions should be peeled. Place the peeled carrots, onions, tomatoes and unpeeled garlic cloves into the pan.
  2. Then the celery needs to be washed and also added to the pan. All components should be covered with cold water and poured with wine vinegar. After this, place the pan with vegetables over high heat, wait until it boils and cook the broth, reducing the heat to low, for 40 minutes.
  3. After the specified time, it is necessary to remove the vegetables from the broth with a slotted spoon, strain the broth through a sieve or several layers of gauze. Cooked vegetables need to be cut into several pieces and returned to the broth.

Diet

The basis of diet number 5 is split meals with short breaks between meals.
You need to eat 5-6 times a day. Eating is accompanied by the release of bile, which prevents its stagnation. In acute cases, bed rest must be observed. This diet is prescribed for a long time. It is advisable to stick to it for 6 months, gradually including new dishes and softening the cooking technology (instead of pureed food in the first days of illness - boiled or baked, steamed, etc.).

What not to do when dieting table number 5

In dietary nutrition, spicy, fried, smoked foods are completely excluded, sour foods and salt are limited. You should not eat all sauces: ketchup, mayonnaise, hot seasonings. Soda, alcohol, cocoa and black coffee are prohibited. Dishes should not be too hot or cold.

You cannot cook soups with meat, fish and mushroom broths. Fatty meat and fish, offal, canned food, and lard are prohibited.

All fatty dairy products are excluded. Corn, pearl barley and wheat porridges are not recommended. Fresh bread and pancakes, pancakes, and products with cream are not allowed. Chocolate and ice cream will have to be avoided, as well as sour fruits such as cranberries or citrus fruits.

Mushrooms, garlic, radishes, green onions are excluded, greens are limited.

Is it possible to eat borscht on a diet?

For people trying to lose weight, the question of whether it is possible to eat borscht on a diet becomes relevant. Nutritionists say yes. This first course is allowed to be included in the diet every day, subject to certain cooking conditions.

The soup should be prepared with vegetable broth. If you are not a supporter of lean or vegetarian dishes, then cook it with the addition of dietary chicken meat, preferably breast. It is also recommended to reduce the amount of potatoes as much as possible, or replace them with beans.

For people suffering from gastritis, you can exclude the addition of the usual frying. In this case, the vegetables are chopped and added fresh to the broth, and then simmered over low heat with other ingredients. This dish is also suitable for feeding a child, since in early childhood fatty foods should be excluded from the diet.

They need to be lightly sauteed for a while, then add the decoction and Hercules flakes.

As it boils, the broth can be added. You must be very careful that your soup does not burn, because in this case it will be impossible to eat. Add the remaining oil and salt there. When the cereal or flakes are cooked, you need to beat them directly, while hot, with a blender until a creamy consistency is formed. You can add greens to taste.
