There are points on the face that are responsible for the functioning of the internal organ systems; the impact on these points has a beneficial effect on the entire body as a whole.

Despite the fact that there are a great variety of techniques for rejuvenating facial skin, including hardware massage, manual facial massage is a very popular procedure that does not lose its relevance.

It is important to understand that tangible results from a facial massage procedure are achieved only with regular sessions! To obtain the desired effect, you must complete a course of 10-15 sessions 3-4 times a year.

Firming basic facial oils

They are obtained by pressing from various parts of plants (seeds, fruits, seeds, nuts), which contain the largest amount of fat. It is impossible to say which facial oil is the best for its rejuvenation, since they all have different effects on the epidermis. And which remedy is right for you can only be determined experimentally, based on your own feelings.

And to achieve the best effect, it is recommended to prepare oil-based anti-aging and firming face masks that will help rejuvenate the skin from different sides.

The most effective anti-aging oils for facial skin:

  • Rosehip

The composition of the rejuvenating facial oil from wild rose fruits includes vitamins C and A, as well as fatty acids, which activate the process of skin cell restoration and smooth out fine wrinkles. In addition, the oil product contains tretinoin (trans-retinoic acid), which can:

  • reduce external photodamage to the epidermis (wrinkles, age spots);
  • stimulate skin cells, increasing the production of collagen and elastin;
  • activate the process of capillary renewal (especially useful for skin suffering from rosacea).

Rosehip oil for facial skin rejuvenation is perfect for dry and aging types of epidermis, saturates it with moisture and gives elasticity, improves protective functions. But it is not recommended for those with oily or acne-prone skin types, because it can stimulate the production of sebum.

Types of facial massage

Classic massage

- This is the most common massage method. This method is used to improve skin tone, tighten the contour and improve complexion. The procedure promotes blood circulation and metabolic processes of removing toxins. There is a reflexive and direct effect on the muscles, as a result of the impact they are strengthened, the facial skin is tightened, forming a rejuvenating effect.

In the process of working out facial tissues, smooth and sliding movements are used, carried out with the fingertips. The emphasis is on stroking, rubbing and vibration.

Plastic facial massage

– an effective method of tightening facial skin in a non-surgical way. During the procedure, the doctor seems to “sculpt the face”, modeling its contours; the technology consists of stimulating the work of muscles that are relaxed and relaxing muscles that are tense.

Plastic massage has no age restrictions and the procedure can be performed on any skin type. The significant rejuvenating effect will be simply amazing: the facial contour is tightened (especially in the most problematic areas), signs of aging disappear, and skin color and texture are noticeably improved.

Facial massage using A.F. technique Akhabadze

is a therapeutic and prophylactic procedure and is an improved classic massage. The procedure provides relaxation of muscle tension, helps remove excess fluid from tissues and stabilizes the functioning of the sebaceous glands, accelerates the process of microcirculation, strengthens blood vessels, improving skin turgor.

Massage techniques include stroking, vibration, rubbing and kneading the skin. The procedure is aimed at rejuvenation and prevention of premature aging, smoothes wrinkles, relaxes and normalizes the functioning of the nervous system.

Facial massage according to Jacquet

is based on stimulating the dermis to self-renewal and consists of a technique of pinching the subcutaneous layer and intense patting. The procedure is extremely effective and promotes accelerated skin recovery after serious treatments for dermatological diseases. Intense capture of the subcutaneous layers and skin perfectly contributes to the activation of collagen production, blood flow and acceleration of internal processes. Abundant enrichment of the skin with oxygen contained in the blood increases lymph circulation, launching natural regeneration processes.

Buccal facial massage

is an innovative method that is a symbiosis of several sculptural massage techniques. Such procedures are aimed at shaping the contours of the face, forcing muscle fibers to work. A kind of facial training, it works the muscles not only from the outside, but also from the inside, activating the necessary processes in different layers of the epidermis.

As a result, an amazing anti-aging effect is observed, puffiness and swelling go away, the position of the lips and corners of the eyes is corrected, the elasticity of the facial frame as a whole increases, the necessary relief is formed in the cheekbones, and the water balance returns to normal.

Rosacea after 40, or adult skin

Acne occurs not only in teenagers, but also in adults. In addition to factors of hormonal imbalance and poor nutrition, there are other triggers for this pathology, for example, stress, incorrectly selected contraceptives, hormonal IUDs (the corpus luteum hormones they contain can manifest themselves as male hormones). In addition to the above, you need to be careful with oily skin care and sunscreen creams, cosmetics, lipsticks, and waxes. If you use them constantly and do not wash them off for a long time, the pores become clogged and the evacuation of fat and the expansion of pores are disrupted. Cosmetics containing fatty oils, paraffins, mineral oils, and silicones are especially “dangerous” in this regard.

NB! If your skin is prone to acne, you should choose only non-comedogenic care products!

Where rashes appear can indicate the cause and even the organ where the damage occurs.

  • A large number of rashes in the T-zone (forehead-nose) are typical for adolescents; they are caused by disturbances in the gastrointestinal tract.
  • Pimples appear on the cheeks and neck in adults; most often they indicate hormonal and complex changes in the organs. Often the skin condition worsens before menstruation, because during this period the hormones of the corpus luteum are especially active and the level of estrogen, the hormones for beautiful skin, drops.
  • If the pimples are small and a little itchy, filled with liquid, not fat, and localized around the mouth, this is perioral dermatitis, or flight attendant disease. Occurs due to improper skin care, waterlogging, swelling of pores, disruption of the microbiome towards candidiasis (thrush).
  • Rashes on the nose and cheeks are characteristic of rosacea. This disease occurs only in adults. The skin becomes irritable and prone to rashes, dilated blood vessels and enlarged pores. The appearance and intensification of a vascular pattern (rosacea) is associated with a deterioration in the condition of the vascular wall and innervation. Rosacea is accompanied by impaired vascular motility in the skin, lymphatic edema, enlarged sebaceous glands, and lability of the autonomic nervous system. We usually associate these changes with a person’s constitution; most often it manifests itself in blondes. Deterioration of the skin condition is usually provoked by sunlight, frequent stress, incorrect selection of cosmetics, irritating foods - coffee, alcohol, hot spices and cigarettes. If you examine the internal organs, it is possible to detect inflammation of the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract, irritable bowel syndrome, dysbiosis, and, possibly, a disruption of the thyroid gland - autoimmune thyroiditis.

NB! Correction of all these disorders will lead to almost complete recovery!

We begin to change and regain youth

  1. We are establishing a drinking regime. Start drinking lemon water up to 2.5 liters per day to alkalize your body! With age, metabolic products accumulate in the body and the pH changes towards acidification of the body, which negatively affects the functioning of organs and systems and leads us straight to aging.
  2. Change your attitude towards sports. 30-40 minutes of any sports activity a day will change you beyond recognition. Remember that the origin of our edema is most often a sedentary lifestyle - a violation of the outflow of lymph. Lymph collects waste products of cells and tissues and removes them from the body. These products can cause irreversible damage if allowed to accumulate over a long period of time. Lymphatic vessels do not have a muscular wall, and the outflow is carried out thanks to the work of our muscles! If you can’t exercise for any reason, just walk 5-10,000 steps.
  3. Taking the correct forms and doses of vitamins, microelements, biologically active substances and amino acids, which support the normal functioning of all biochemical reactions of the body, normalize the functioning of blood vessels, restore the structure of muscles and bone tissue, improve the condition of the hormonal system, increase insulin sensitivity to glucose! Remember that glucose destroys collagen and our blood vessels. Support yourself and the results will not keep you waiting!
  4. Setting the correct diet and meal times normalizes the functioning of all body systems. We are what we eat! And how we eat is no less important. Food must be chewed thoroughly, “the stomach has no teeth,” and enzymes are produced in smaller quantities and of worse quality with age. Intermittent fasting gives our body the opportunity to turn on the body's cleansing and restoration systems - autophagy!
  5. It has been proven that with age, the burden on the immune system accumulates and increases, so it is necessary to eliminate foods with a high immune burden, such as gluten and dairy products, as much as possible. These products contribute to the manifestation of rosacea, acne, allergic reactions, weight gain, exacerbation of chronic diseases, and most importantly, oncology.

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential elements for healthy skin and beautiful hair!

Thanks to them, the skin becomes elastic, and nails and hair become stronger. Omega-3s belong to the group of essential fatty acids (EFAs). They have strong nutritional properties for the skin, improve its tension and slow down the formation of wrinkles.

There are many acids belonging to the Omega-3 group. The highest efficiency is demonstrated by:

  1. EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) helps block the substance that depletes collagen in the skin as a result of sun exposure, thereby protecting the skin from harmful ultraviolet radiation, preventing photoaging and skin discoloration.
  2. DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is a structural component of our skin. This acid is responsible for the health of the cell membrane, which is the main building block of our skin, protecting it from the negative effects of solar radiation. Scientific research shows that optimal intake of DHA supports the treatment of eczema.
  3. GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) improves skin condition and prevents dehydration in older people.

The best skin care effects are achieved by using Omega-3 fatty acids either directly on the skin or orally. A lack of essential fatty acids (EFAs) in the diet negatively affects our skin, which loses its smoothness and elasticity.

Rehabilitation after facial massage

After the massage procedure, redness on the skin may appear, which will completely disappear after a few hours. It is not advisable to apply decorative cosmetics immediately.

Important! If after the procedure you feel discomfort or pain for a long period of time, or bruises and hematomas appear, consult a doctor immediately.

Such consequences after massage procedures are possible only if the massage technique is violated. It is for this reason that it is recommended that facial massage be performed only by qualified specialists. It is not recommended to carry out home manipulations or only after consultation with a cosmetologist!

Manual facial massage is an excellent preparation for injection techniques, such as biorevitalization or mesotherapy.

Important nuances

In order for oils for facial skin rejuvenation not only to heal, but also not to harm, you need to follow some rules:

  1. Before starting use, you should always do an allergy test. If you have chosen a basic and maximally non-allergic product, you still need to spread it on the crook of your elbow and wait a few hours. There are allergies to even the most non-allergenic foods, so do not neglect this advice.
  2. Concentrated essential oils cannot be smeared on the skin in their pure form, as this will cause a burn. Before starting a cosmetic procedure, you need to mix it with the base liquid, and the ratio should not be 50:50, but at least 30:70, depending on the variety. Usually the dosage does not exceed 2-3 drops.
  3. It is necessary to purchase proven products; the best essential oils are produced in small darkened glass jars and are not cheap. The bottle must have an inscription stating that the liquid is natural, and information about the manufacturing method is also desirable.
  4. You cannot mix more than 7 types in a row; a beneficial effect cannot be achieved, and the appearance of an unpredictable unpleasant effect is almost guaranteed.
  5. You should not use the same variety for more than two to three weeks. We take it as a rule: a couple of weeks of use, then a month of rest, then an oil change.
  6. You should not take oily liquids internally, especially if they are made from inedible plants.
  7. Do not allow oils to get into your eyes.
  8. The use of aromatic oils is prohibited for pregnant and lactating women, as well as for persons with certain diseases, severe allergies and individual intolerances.

Natural essential oils are a real natural gift for the skin. If you use them wisely, you can achieve amazing results in a short period of time. The possibilities for use are enormous: from spreading it in its pure form to creating recipes for masks, creams, lotions, tonics, scrubs and other cosmetics. The main thing is to observe moderation in everything and sincerely love yourself!
