The 3 3 3 3 diet is a 12-day diet option.
The name reflects a unique approach to nutrition: 12 days of the diet are divided into four three-day cycles. Every three days, only one type of product is supposed to be consumed: kefir, apples, boiled chicken, wine and cheese, which complete the diet. In some interpretations, kefir is replaced with rice water, apple day with kefir and cottage cheese, and red wine with orange juice. In any version, the diet is low-calorie and is considered strict, since it represents a series of fasting days. Reducing calorie intake occurs by eliminating simple carbohydrates and fats. According to reviews, with strict adherence to the diet, you can lose 8-10 kg.
This weight loss program has another name - “acting”, due to the popularity it has gained among film, theater and ballet artists.
Basic diet requirements:
- Eating low-calorie foods. The menu contains protein foods, but meat and kefir are chosen not to be fatty. It is better to eat fruits that are unsweetened and not very high in calories - sour apples, oranges, grapefruits, and unsweetened varieties of pears are best.
- Exclusion from the diet of salt, sugar and all sweets and seasonings.
- The diet is repeated only after four months, but after one twelve-day cycle you can switch to proper nutrition for further weight loss and maintaining it at the same level.
- Limit or completely eliminate sports activities.

- 1%-2.5% kefir - usually 1.5 liters per day is enough. Mature kefir will aggravate this problem, especially in people prone to constipation. To drink one-day kefir, you need to prepare it yourself.
- Apples, pears (raw or baked), oranges. You can choose the ratio of fruits according to your preferences. For high acidity, it is better to prefer sweet apples and pears.
- Boiled chicken, without skin, salt and seasonings. It is allowed to be consumed without restrictions, but 500-700 g per day is enough. In addition to chicken, you can eat veal or turkey. If you don’t eat meat, you can easily spend these days eating boiled or stewed fish.
- Cheese no more than 20% fat content up to 150 g per day.
- Dry red wine 750 ml, diluted with water 1:1. For a glass of wine, take a piece of cheese containing 30 g of cheese. If you do not want to drink wine or have contraindications to drinking it, you can replace it with orange juice.
- Green and herbal tea (no sugar).
