As a result, the salad has a very beautiful multi-colored appearance, thanks to which your appetite rises literally at first sight, and since its taste is revealed gradually, which is typical for puff salads, while eating you will get great pleasure, experiencing the whole gamut of different taste sensations .

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 large beet (500 g)
  • 2 medium carrots (300 g)
  • 150 g cheese
  • 50 g walnuts
  • 40 g raisins
  • 2 - 3 cloves of garlic
  • 6 tbsp. l. mayonnaise
  • salt

COOKING METHOD:

1. In order to prepare the exquisite “Mistress” salad with beets, carrots and cheese, you need to separately prepare the ingredients for three different layers and place them layer by layer in a deep salad bowl or in a heap on a small dish. For the bottom layer, the carrots need to be peeled and grated on a fine grater, and note that the carrots in this salad are used raw and do not need to be boiled.


2. Lightly salt the grated carrots and mix in a separate bowl with raisins and two tablespoons of mayonnaise.

Advice! To prepare this dish, you can use any raisins - large or small, light or dark, since the main thing is that they are tasty, fresh and juicy enough and do not seem like something alien in the salad. If the consistency of your raisins does not meet these requirements, then they need to be steamed in boiling water for 15 - 20 minutes, and before use, air dry or blot with a paper towel.


3. Place the resulting carrot mixture in a salad bowl or on a dish as the first layer of the “Mistress” salad and lightly compact it. In this case, I used a small square baking dish measuring 18 x 18 cm, since the indicated amount of ingredients is designed for approximately 8 servings.


4. For the second layer, you need to grate the most ordinary semi-hard cheese on a fine grater, giving preference to varieties with a pronounced salty taste.


5. Mix the grated cheese with two tablespoons of mayonnaise and garlic, passed through a press, but for obvious reasons there is no need to salt it.


6. Place a layer of cheese with garlic and mayonnaise in a salad bowl on top of the carrots.


7. For the third layer, the beets must be boiled until tender and grated on a fine grater. During the chopping process, beets often produce a lot of juice, which will be unnecessary in the salad, so you can lightly squeeze the grated beets with your hands or a spoon, and then completely drain the released liquid.


8. Chop the walnuts quite finely (although not quite into crumbs) in any way convenient for you, then add them to the grated beets along with a pinch of salt and two tablespoons of mayonnaise.


9. Place the last beet layer on top of the cheese, then put the finished “Mistress” salad in the refrigerator for 1 - 2 hours.


“Mistress” salad with beets and carrots is an unusually impressive and tasty dish, which can be considered not just ordinary food, but a real delicacy, suitable for a solemn holiday feast. Beets, and not radishes, or, for example, carrots, are used for weight loss not only due to the laxative effect that they have. It contains fat-soluble vitamins A, C, E. Eating vegetables is an excellent way to cope with digestive disorders.

  • By eating boiled beets, we start the process of cleansing the body of unnecessary toxins and heavy metal salts. The stomach and intestines are cleansed of hardened fecal deposits. After such cleansing, the stomach noticeably decreases in size.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 large beet (400 g)
  • 2 medium potatoes (300 g)
  • 2 small carrots (250 g)
  • 2 pickled cucumbers (120 g)
  • 1 small can of green peas (200 g)
  • 1 small onion (60 g)

Vinaigrette dressing:

  • 2 tbsp. l. sunflower oil
  • 1 tbsp. l. apple cider vinegar
  • 1.5 tsp. Sahara
  • 1 tsp. salt

COOKING METHOD:

1. In order to prepare a vinaigrette according to the classic recipe, first of all you need to boil the vegetables. Potatoes, carrots and beets can be cooked at the same time in one container, however, before doing this, you should make sure that the beets have intact skin, otherwise they will turn other vegetables red. Additionally, potatoes tend to cook faster than carrots and beets, and starchy potatoes can even fall apart in the pan if overcooked, so these root vegetables should be checked from time to time to ensure they are done in time. Carrots and beets do not tend to fall apart during the cooking process, and there is no need to monitor them so closely, so they can be cooked for 1 - 1.5 hours, focusing mainly on the readiness of larger beets.


2. Boiled beets must be cooled, carefully peeled and cut into cubes with a side of 8 - 10 mm.

Comment! In some cooking articles on the Internet, I came across advice to add vegetable oil to the chopped beets to prevent the rest of the ingredients from turning red. Unfortunately, as you can clearly see in the last photos of the vinaigrette, this recommendation did not work for me, however, you can try to apply this advice, what if you manage to achieve something more?

3. Also peel and cut the potatoes into cubes. It is advisable to cut all ingredients into identical small cubes, since this is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also contributes to the formation of the most correct taste composition of this dish.


4. Peel the carrots and cut them into the same cubes.


5. Cut pickled cucumbers into cubes. If the cucumbers have too thick, rough or hard peel, then it is better to remove it so that the consistency of the salad remains soft and tender.


6. Chop the onions as finely as possible. In this case, I took red salad onions, because they are not so spicy and it is difficult to overdo it. When using regular onions, you should observe the measure and add it taking into account the tastes of those people who will eat the vinaigrette.


7. Place all ingredients in a large salad bowl and add canned green peas without liquid.

Advice! Canned peas can vary greatly in their taste properties, and since most cans do not allow you to visually assess their quality, in some cases you end up with a product that is too large, hard and almost tasteless. To increase your chances of purchasing decent green peas, it is better to choose those canned goods that are made in the summer, since they most likely contain fresh young peas that have ripened in optimal conditions.


8. Vinaigrette dressing, consisting of salt, sugar, vinegar and vegetable oil, can be mixed in a separate container or each ingredient can be immediately added to the salad bowl separately. Mix everything well, and the vinaigrette can be served without delay.

Ingredients:

• beets – 2 pcs.; • walnuts – 100 g; • prunes – 70 g; • garlic – 2 cloves; • mayonnaise – 3 tbsp. l.; • salt – a pinch; • pepper – a pinch.

Ingredients:

  • Beets - 1 kg.
  • Vegetable oil - 100 ml.
  • Garlic - 4 cloves
  • Vinegar 9% - 4 tbsp. l.
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp. l.
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp.
  • Coriander (ground) - 1/2 tsp.
  • Black pepper (ground) - 1/2 tsp.
  • Red pepper (ground) - 1/2 tsp.

Preparation:

1. Peeled beets must be grated on a Korean salad grater or cut into thin long strips.

2. Pass the garlic cloves through a garlic press and mix with the beets. In order for garlic to have a pleasant smell in a dish, it is better to add it fresh. 3. Pour sunflower oil into a hot frying pan and bring it to a boil. Remove the oil from the heat and add salt, sugar, spices, vinegar and mix.

  • Pickled cucumber - 1 pc.;
  • Apple - 1 pc.;
  • Walnuts - 2-3 pcs.;
