During the kefir-fruit diet, which is 3 days, or even a week, you must stop using salt and sugar. It is also not recommended to consume honey. If you want something sweet, you can eat unlimited quantities of watermelons, cherries, strawberries, and pineapples.

It is important to drink up to 1.5 liters of water per day. If desired, you are allowed to drink green tea or herbal infusions.

The maximum weight of a serving should not exceed 150 g.

Requirements of the kefir-fruit diet for 1 day

To carry out a kefir-fruit fasting day, you will need 1 liter of kefir with a fat content of 1% and up to 1 kg of any fruits, berries or vegetables except grapes and bananas. In addition to kefir, you can use any non-sweet fermented milk product - yogurt, tan, fermented baked milk, whey, koumiss, yogurt, ayran or another with the same fat content (40 Kcal/100 g), and it is also possible with dietary supplements.

Although the diet is called kefir-fruit diet, any vegetables and berries are allowed - tomatoes - yes, cucumbers - too, a piece of watermelon - please, strawberries, cherries, carrots, and cabbage - any berries and vegetables are allowed. Salt and sugar are not allowed.

During the day you must drink at least 1.5 liters. water, regular, non-mineralized and non-carbonated - you can have regular, green, herbal tea.

Menu options

The duration of the kefir-fruit diet varies from 1 day to a week. We will consider both an express diet and a restrictive diet designed for a longer period.

For 1 day

This is a classic type of weight loss that combines kefir and apples. You need to drink 1 liter of kefir per day and eat 4 apples. Preference should be given to green ones.

Divide portions into several portions. Schedule your first meal at 7 a.m., and then eat at 2-hour intervals. At the first meal, drink 200 g of kefir (37 kcal), and at 9 o’clock eat 1 apple (48 kcal). At the last meal, scheduled for 23.00, drink the remaining kefir.

For 3 days

All gentle options for the kefir-fruit diet are designed for 3 days or more. By increasing the calorie intake, the duration increases. So, the menu below for the kefir-fruit diet can be extended over 5 days. In this case, after completing day 3 of the diet, you again move on to day 1. The maximum duration of the kefir-fruit diet is 7 days.

Day 1:

  • have breakfast with a glass of kefir (37 kcal);
  • for second breakfast, eat 7 prunes, drink coffee without sugar (318 kcal);
  • dine with vegetable casserole, the portion of which should not exceed 150 g, or fresh vegetable salad (125 kcal);
  • for an afternoon snack, drink a glass of kefir (37 kcal) and eat a baked apple with cinnamon (48 kcal);
  • for dinner only a glass of kefir (37 kcal).

Day 2:

  • have breakfast with 100 g of cottage cheese seasoned with kefir (156 kcal) and 100 g of any berries (106 kcal);
  • for second breakfast, drink kefir (37 kcal) and eat a banana (87 kcal);
  • have lunch with vegetable soup with sour cream (275 kcal) and eat a couple of slices of bread with bran (210 kcal);
  • for an afternoon snack you can have an apple (48 kcal), a pear (41 kcal) or an orange (38 kcal);
  • in the evening drink kefir (37 kcal) and eat grapefruit (37 kcal).

Day 3:

  • have breakfast with a glass of kefir (37 kcal) and eat 3 apricots (44 kcal);
  • for second breakfast, drink a glass of orange juice (36 kcal);
  • have lunch with fruit salad (137 kcal) and 100 g of yogurt (65 kcal);
  • for an afternoon snack, kefir (37 kcal) with prunes (262 kcal) is allowed;
  • dine with a glass of kefir (37 kcal) and cherries (54 kcal).

You can choose fruits at your discretion.

About the essence of the diet itself

Breakfasts are always the same - right in the morning you will need to slowly drink 1 glass of 1% kefir. About 3 hours later, a second breakfast follows, for which you eat what is indicated on the calendar (see below). The afternoon snack is the same in composition as the second breakfast. For lunch, the first 5 days you prepare the simplest okroshka with kefir: 1 cucumber, 1 hard-boiled egg, 5-6 radishes and any finely chopped greens. End the day with fruits or vegetables that you ate for an afternoon snack with one glass of kefir. I would like to immediately stipulate that you can consume fruits and vegetables in unlimited quantities and change them at your discretion. If you get tired of raw vegetables, you can even stew or boil them; this will not reduce the weight loss effect. Fruits and vegetables are not only healthy, containing a large amount of vitamins and microelements, but also fiber, which is known to help normalize weight.

For the last three days, you have been drinking only kefir for breakfast and dinner, but fish, meat, and seafood are already appearing on the table, and you eat them three times a day.
