The description is impressive: “Lida Maximum burns fat, especially in the lower back, hips, abdomen, and buttocks.” And naturally, they write that it is created “exclusively from plant extracts that significantly reduce subcutaneous fat deposits.” And of course, “being completely non-toxic, it has no side effects on the body.”

Composition of Lida “maximum”[edit | edit code]

The composition is complex, and even mysterious. We could not find ingredients such as Ganzhu fiber, Gualajia fruit, Qiaozhui flower, Guaer gelatin powder either in the herbal medicine reference book or on the Internet. No, we certainly found something. It turned out that Ganzhu is a populated area in China, and what Ganzhu fibers are is unknown. But other ingredients from this list remained a mystery to us. Truly China is a country of secrets. Apparently, just as they kept the secret of making natural silk, they keep the secret of the ingredients of the Lida Maximum dietary supplement. The quantitative composition of the components is not indicated. And even more - there are two different compositions of the drug.

Let's consider both, of course, only those ingredients that we managed to find:

Lida "maximum" - the first composition[edit | edit code]

• Sweet fibers Jiugan (from amorphophallus and Jerusalem artichoke). By the way, Google doesn’t know the word “Jiugan” either. Perhaps this is a generalized local name for amorphophallus and Jerusalem artichoke. Or maybe not.

• Alfalfa

• Pahima coconut
  is a tree mushroom that has a diuretic and sedative effect.

• Garcinia Cambogia has been used for some time in the manufacture of dietary supplements for weight loss, but studies have led to the conclusion that garcinia not only does not affect weight, but is also hepatotoxic.

• Cola fruit
  . Everything is clear here, cola contains caffeine. In small quantities it is useful and safe. But overdosing over a long period of time often causes addiction, nervousness or insomnia.

• Fenugreek seeds (shambhala)
  are mainly used as a spice, are part of suneli hops, and are also used as a food additive (E417).

• Chrysanthemum
  in Chinese folk medicine is used as a medicinal plant: leaves - for migraines, dried flowers - to improve appetite. Not used in traditional medicine.

• Sweet
  potato – sweet potato, sweet potato starch is used as a coating and emollient.

• Porphyra

Lida “maximum” diet pills were developed by Chinese (they write about this on the distributors’ websites). The quality and safety of products have repeatedly caused criticism. Unsafe substances, such as sibutramine or its derivatives, were found in many of its dietary supplements. Sibutramine, which in addition to “easy” weight loss also provides a suspicious shine in the eyes, is banned in many countries. In Russia, the circulation of sibutramine is not prohibited (oddly enough), but is strictly limited and is under strict control.

The drugs “LiDa”, “New “LiDa” and several other drugs with the word “LiDa” in the name were included in the “List of Potent and Poisonous Substances” of the Russian Federation. Given the serious side effects of sibutramine and the risks associated with its use, the vast majority of doctors, in particular endocrinologists, gynecologists and cardiologists, are categorically against their patients taking any drugs with sibutramine.

Having summarized the reviews, we found out that taking Lida Maximum can cause: addiction, increased salivation, inhibited reaction, especially in combination with alcohol, allergic reactions, disruption of the brain and nervous system, disruption of the internal organs (kidneys, gastrointestinal tract, liver) .

On the distributor’s website it is knowledgeably written: “Conducted in 2004 at the Institute of Nutrition of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences under the guidance of Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor A.V. Pogozhaeva and Doctor of Biological Sciences A.V. Vasiliev clinical trials of the complex...". Not only is the name of Professor A.V. distorted. Pogozhevoy, we have very serious doubts that she has ever heard of this drug. If clinical trials had been conducted at the Federal State Budgetary Institution Research Institute of Nutrition of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences (Moscow), we would have found mention of this not only on the sellers’ website. The fact is that the procedure for registering food additives includes, as a second stage, conducting basic research on dietary supplements (specifically as a food product) and obtaining an Expert Opinion from the State Research Institute of Nutrition of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. This is standard procedure. And the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences does not provide an assessment of the therapeutic effect.
