  • 2 cups pumpkin, which has been previously peeled and grated on a fine grater;
  • 250 gr. kefir;
  • 1.5 cups of sugar, of which 0.5 cup will go into the dough, the rest into syrup;
  • 1.5 cups semolina;
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder;
  • 1 lemon (the zest will go into the dough, and the juice will be needed for syrup);
  • 0.5 glasses of water;
  • 1 package of coconut flakes (you can use colored ones);
  • vegetable oil for mold.

Peel the pumpkin and grate it on a fine grater. Mix pumpkin with sugar, add kefir, semolina, sugar and baking powder. Mix well.

Wash the lemon thoroughly and grate the zest from it. Add the zest to the dough and mix. Please note that in this semolina recipe, everything must be done quickly so that the semolina introduced into the dough does not have time to swell.
