It has long been known that the heavenly bodies have a special effect on human health and condition. The most studied features of the reaction to the phases of the lunar cycle and lunar gravity:

  • fruits - many healthy programs recommend eating large daily fresh vegetable and fruit salads, adding leafy and spicy greens to all dishes, but the lunar diet lasts only 4 days and the authors allowed only one green apple per day, which will provide the body with the necessary vitamin C , iron and other microelements, as well as pectin fibers ;

Three-day lunar diet

The next type of diet is liquid, corresponding to the phases of the beautiful moon and is followed only once a month. It is recommended to start with the full moon or, if there is a new moon ahead, then in this phase, but it can also be observed in its other phases.

When choosing and preparing food, it is important to preserve its taste and limit spices to a minimum.

During these 3 days of the diet, drink more fluids, if possible - spring or mineral water and fresh juices made in a juicer. Coffee and alcohol, as with most diets, are not recommended. For variety, it's good to use different types of herbal tea to suit your taste, or iced mint tea, freshly squeezed citrus fruit, or a glass of warm water with one slice of lemon and a spoonful of honey.

An example menu for each day of a three-day diet:

First day

  • After waking up in the morning - a glass of water and the juice of half an orange;
  • Breakfast - apple and yogurt;
  • 10 hours - lemon and orange juice;
  • Lunch - a glass of vegetable juice;
  • Afternoon snack - your favorite herbal tea with honey;
  • Dinner - a glass of citrus juice;
  • Before bed - herbal tea with honey.

Second day

  • When you wake up, start with a glass of water and the juice of half a sweet orange:
  • Breakfast - only herbal tea with honey;
  • 10 hours - citrus juice from orange and lemon;
  • Lunch - a glass of vegetable juice;
  • Afternoon snack - like breakfast - tea with honey;
  • Dinner - applesauce;
  • Before bed - again, as at breakfast - herbal tea with honey.

The third day

  • When waking up - herbal tea with a spoonful of honey;
  • Breakfast - mashed banana and yogurt;
  • 10 o'clock - a glass of grapefruit juice;
  • Lunch - vegetable juice and one more of 2 oranges;
  • Afternoon snack - again your favorite herbal tea with honey;
  • Dinner - a cup of herbal tea without honey;
  • Before bed - again herbal tea with honey.

To maintain weight after losing weight, it is recommended to start with lighter foods on the menu. Steaming is recommended. Mixing fresh fruits and vegetables is not recommended, although according to the menu on the third day, you can juice fruits and vegetables.

For your diet, it is better to choose more fruits and vegetables, giving preference to carrots, zucchini, cabbage, celery, cucumbers, lettuce and tomatoes. Very tasty salads without salt, with apple cider vinegar and olive oil.

Quitting the diet

If you decide to achieve your ideal weight thanks to the new moon diet, then during the “rest” from it before the next new moon you need to:

  • refuse food after 18:00;
  • spend a fasting day every week, for example, on apples , kefir or any other product;
  • give preference to healthy foods, refusing preservatives, fatty, fried, synthetic sweets, flour, fast food, etc.;

New and Full Moon Nutrition Basics

During the new moon, you should not change your usual diet too much, much less reduce it. But you can increase your intake of protein foods. This will have no harm on the curves of the figure.

  • And if the goal is to lose significant weight, for this you need to stick to your normal diet on the first day, but in the evening eat only a bowl of broth prepared with lean meat and fish. And you can't eat anything else.
  • The next day you will have to eat only one broth, and for the evening meal it is better to use vegetable soup.
  • On the third day, breakfast is offered with a light decoction of vegetables, and then you can again stick to your usual diet.

During the new moon, it is recommended to drink plenty of water between meals, as well as unsweetened green tea. And if you adhere to such a system, then the lunar calendar for weight loss 2021 will allow you to cleanse your internal system and easily get rid of existing extra pounds.

During a full moon, any food is quite difficult to digest. Therefore, it is important during this period not to overload the digestive system with high-calorie and fatty foods.

The best option would be to give yourself a few fasting days using only fresh juices or just water. Such a cleansing day should begin at 7 a.m. and end at the same time, but the next day. You can drink juices from cucumber, carrots and beets. Such drinks can be diluted with fruit additives (apricots, pears and pomegranates). Lunar diet, lasting 6 days This nutrition program will help you lose weight and gain a slender waist.

It should be started 3 days before the full moon. And it will last until the third day of the new moon phase. The essence of this diet is as follows:

  1. On the first day, you can only eat vegetable fruits, raw or steamed (radish, cabbage, zucchini, tomatoes and cucumbers).
  2. During the second day, you can only eat fresh pineapples.
  3. The diet for the third day will consist of boiled mushrooms. And since this food is quite heavy, you need to drink a lot of mineral water between meals.
  4. The fourth day involves only a liquid menu consisting of plain water, green tea without sugar and freshly squeezed juices.
  5. On the fifth day, pineapples are again introduced into the menu. And the diet ends on the sixth day, when you can only eat boiled mushrooms.

Throughout the entire period of such nutrition, you are allowed to drink a lot of water and weak, unsweetened tea. And if you strictly follow such a diet in the period between the full moon and the new moon, you will be able to lose about 6 kilograms of excess weight. And in order to then maintain the achieved result, you should adhere to the usual basics of proper nutrition for some time.

  • Olga, 22 years old: “... I was pleasantly pleased that the new moon diet did not turn out to be a dummy, but a real weight loss program. I was on a diet for four days, and on my usual diet for the rest of the month, and in six months I was able to return from size 56 to my favorite size 48.”
  • Veronica, 27 years old: “... My husband is a little wary of my fasting on the new moon. And, although I tolerate such a menu well, he finds it terrible. The monotony upsets me, and of course, a spoonful of honey is absolutely not comparable to my usual hearty breakfasts. The first time I lost 4 kg, in a month a little more than 0.5 kg came back, the second time I gave up wine, I was very hungry from it and the scales showed another minus 4.3 kg.” Svetlana, 35 years old: “... I am very attentive to the lunar calendar, we are all like the sea, we have ebbs and flows, at one time it is easier to lose weight, and at other days - there is no need to be upset because of plus 1 kg, everything in life flows and changes like a sine wave."

Diet for weight loss according to the lunar calendar 2021 - tips

Below is a list of important tips and tricks for the effectiveness of the diet.

  • First, decide: do you want to lose weight forever or do you need to lose a few kilograms before an important event, and then the number on the scale is not so important? If the second option is important to you, it’s enough to go on a strict diet (but they have a lot of side effects). If you are interested in long-term weight loss, you will have to change your lifestyle.
  • Weight loss occurs according to only one formula - spend more than consume.
    If we spend as much as we eat, the weight stays the same. If we eat more than we spend, we gain weight. Find your own weight loss formula. Some people find it easier to count calories to lose weight, while others find it easier to stick to a specific nutrition plan. Choose what suits you best.
  • In nutrition, everything is very individual. Listen to your body. If some food makes you feel bad (even if it is healthy), then it is not suitable for you. But you shouldn’t stuff yourself with cakes either. Choose healthy snacks for yourself - fruits, nuts, vegetables, low-fat dairy products.
  • You need to gradually eliminate unhealthy foods from your diet. Don't switch to carrots and cabbage leaves. A strict diet threatens failure and double the weight gain. Allow yourself sometimes your favorite foods, but in small quantities and preferably in the first half of the day.
  • In order to stick to proper nutrition, make yourself a plan for the day or week. A systematic approach helps to achieve results faster.
  • Find motivation, that is, something that will not let you give up and stick with the diet to the end.

    Sometimes, doing this is not as easy as it seems. Keep yourself motivated.

    Don't give up what you want most in life for what you want right now.

  • It is important to learn how to prepare food correctly. For example, it is better to cook oatmeal in water. Then dilute a little with milk and add 1 tsp. This will turn out to be less caloric than with butter and sugar. Stewed vegetables are much lower in calories than fried in a frying pan with sunflower oil.
  • Before purchasing products, check and read the ingredients. If you want something sweet, it is better to prepare the dish at home rather than eat store-bought cakes and pastries.

Diet while taking glucocorticosteroids

Hormones called glucocorticosteroids (corticosteroids, glucocorticoids) are normally produced in the human body by adrenal cells. They influence a variety of metabolic processes, their effects are multifaceted. For certain autoimmune diseases, nephrotic syndrome, and blood diseases, long-term use of glucocorticosteroids is required to obtain a therapeutic effect.

There are natural and synthetic drugs (triamcinolone, betamethasone, methylprednisolone, hydrocortisone, dexamethasone, etc.) that are successfully used in the treatment of various pathologies. The drugs have the expected anti-inflammatory and antiallergic effect. However, unfortunately, they create the preconditions for significant shifts in metabolic processes.

  • increase the breakdown of proteins, reducing their synthesis;
  • increase appetite (as a result of this, children often increase their total body weight);
  • cause excessive fluid retention, as well as sodium (in some cases, edema may appear);
  • promote the breakdown of fats with their subsequent uneven deposition in the patient’s body (moon-shaped face with thin limbs, etc.);
  • increase the production of gastric juice (in some patients this is why painful abdominal discomfort, heartburn, a burning sensation in the stomach area, nausea);
  • increase glucose, at the same time reducing its absorption by body tissues (up to the occurrence of steroid diabetes);
  • promote calcium loss (depletion of bone tissue can be complicated by osteoporosis and fractures, heart rhythm disturbances and seizures);
  • increase blood pressure (due to excessive sodium and fluid retention, vasospasm);
  • reduce immunity, leading to increased susceptibility to infections.

After completing hormone treatment, most of these effects disappear without a trace.

Dietary recommendations

When prescribing glucocorticosteroids, as a rule, the doctor informs his patients about all the possible negative consequences of hormonal treatment and advises them to reconsider their dietary habits. Proper nutritional correction helps to influence the undesirable therapeutic effects of glucocorticosteroids.

With long-term glucocorticosteroid therapy, the diet is followed for the entire duration of their administration and involves:

  • increasing protein content through daily consumption of lean meat, poultry, non-fish seafood, cottage cheese, fish, egg whites, soy products, in the absence of contraindications for a particular child;
  • reducing the consumption of simple sugars (confectionery, sweets, chocolate, muffins, sweets), as well as fats up to 1 g per kg (cooking fats, cream, lard, pork, goose, lamb, duck, hard margarines, etc.);
  • compliance with a restrictive daily fluid regimen (monitoring of diuresis is required, and, if necessary, monitoring of drunk and excreted fluid);
  • reducing consumption of table salt;
  • reducing sodium-rich foods (pickles, smoked foods);
  • limiting foods that are a source of oxalic acid and reduce calcium absorption (parsley, sorrel, spinach, figs, etc.);
  • increasing the amount of foods containing potassium (dried fruits, apples, apricots, baked potatoes, pumpkin, etc.);
  • eating foods rich in calcium (dairy products, broccoli, sesame seeds, canned fish with soft or edible bones);
  • exclusion or significant limitation of any food that increases the production of gastric juice (parsley, garlic, liver, green and onions, mushrooms, radishes, rhubarb, turnips, radishes, marinades, cocoa, citrus fruits, cranberries, coffee, strong teas, etc.);
  • exclusion of any fried foods;
  • reducing foods that are obligate allergens (strawberries, chocolate, citrus fruits, whole milk, nuts, honey);
